Our Mission

The Evening Harvest Farmers Market ‘On The Square’ was created to offer the community a wide variety of local, high quality, fresh produce and farm products. The EHM will assist producers, artists, crafters, businesses and organizations by providing a consumer source in an organized, attractive, efficient, and cost effective setting.

The Evening Harvest Market goals are to become an integral part of the community helping farmers and merchants located in the surrounding market area. The EHM will provide more exposure to the square by making the area more vibrant and offer opportunities to reach new customers not currently shopping in the Hayesville downtown area.

All Products are Produced Locally

Defined as within 100 miles of Clay County, NC Producers must grow a minimum of 50% of their products for sale. Exceptions to this policy will be at the discretion of the Market Manager. All vendors will be approved through an application process
